“If you build it, they will come.” Maybe, but we’ll need a space first. Easier said than done; as so many things need to be right if to undertake this type of project. Location, location, location. Heard that one before? We have.
We needed a space in the center of the city, close to everything, within pedestrian proximity to public transportation and the national train network. Preferably ground level. Preferably with big, exposing windows out towards a square or main vein or drag. Must be adaptable to Swedish laws on ergonomics, heat & ventilation, sanitary installations, environmental sound level regulations… the works. We want to build a space that’s both welcoming, lovable, comfortable, productive, creative and of course… legal & legit.
We think we’ve found our space. Now, the physical planning begins.
